Rebecca (she/her) is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist who is a late diagnosed AuDHDer and parent to two neurodivergent children (and three fur babies!). She practices from a trauma informed, neurodiversity affirming framework. This means that creating a safe, inclusive therapeutic relationship and space is the foundation of her work when supporting individuals across the lifespan to better understand themselves and, thereby, inform supports within their unique environment.

Zebra Finch Psychology was named after Rebecca’s grandfather, Poppy, who died when she was 7 years old. Poppy was an animal person and kept many pets, including an aviary of finches. Significantly, Poppy was the only adult that Rebecca remembers who placed no expectations or demands on her. In Poppy’s eyes Rebecca remembers being enough just as she was.
